I saw that our local council's present to the
older members of the community was finally open and ready for use today. Leichhardt Council has set up an exercise area with equipment which is free to use by all.

It is in a perfect location - both beautiful and convenient. Beside it is a playground for toddlers and just across the pathway is the bay. If you're in a hurry or feeling a bit lazy you can drive there - the car park is nearby - and if you are lucky enough to have a canoe you could row to the nearby wharf.
I think us older people will be sharing with the younger members of the community as well though.

Exquisite photography. I'll have to be more observant on my next walk in the park. Must stop and play on the equipment too, but alwayst busy. Will have to make it a destination.
