The Victorians

Inspiration Avenue's art challenge this week is "The Victorian Era". I didn't have to go far to find some reminders of that time. They were all here in my house.

Modern version of the old.

Detail of a sideboard that belonged to  my grandparents.
It would have been second hand when they acquired it.

Each of the photos portrays a slice of Victoriana. I like the leg of the sideboard best, but the portrait is intriguing.

I love your antique photograph and how you blended it digitally with your lamp. May your holidays be filled with blessings, Lorik
